Om modellen

A. Schild of Grenchen was one of Switzerland’s largest movement makers and supplied a long list of smaller brands, often ones sold in a single market. GOW appears to have been one of them, and the Swedish model name Suverän (“sovereign”) suggests the watch was sold in Sweden. The AS 1130 is a 13-ligne hand-wound movement running at 18,000 A/h, built to be robust and easy to service. The dial is a typical bullseye dial of the late 1940s and 1950s: a gold centre, a black ring carrying the numerals and a separate small seconds dial with a fine pattern. The Waterproof, Antimagnetic and Incabloc markings were standard on Swiss watches of the same period. The movement is the earlier AS 1130, made before the AS 1130N arrived around 1970. Taken together, this points to the 1950s.

Vad jag vet är fel på den

The dial shows light signs of age but no damage or scratches. The luminous paint on the hands has darkened with age. The plexi crystal is freshly polished but has a small crack at the edge, only visible if you look for it and not reaching over the dial. Chrome-plated case with normal wear; the chrome is worn through on some edges and lugs. Regulated by me and keeps good time. Service history unknown. Not pressure tested, treat it as not water resistant. Fixoflex metal expansion bracelet, not original.

Ingen klocka här är trycktestad. En tidstypisk WATERPROOF- eller WATER RESISTANT-stämpel säger ingenting om packningarna i dag, så betrakta alla klockor på sajten som inte vattentäta.
