Longines 104 3 522 "Flagship"
Longines · 104 3 522 · 1958–1959
Om modellen
Longines launched the Flagship in 1957, only the second product family in the company's history. Its signature sits on the back rather than the front: a medallion engraved with a caravel, the sailing ship Longines used as a mark of exploration. Inside is the 30L, Longines' own manual calibre from the late 1950s, named for its diameter in millimetres and rated by collectors as one of the best manual movements of its decade.
Det du ser
Dial with an applied logo and applied indices. Uneven, blotchy patina and dirty, but no lacquer damage and no flaking — it does not need refinishing. The case is clean, with no dings or scratches, and the engraved Flagship ship on the back is crisp and has not been polished away.
Vad jag vet är fel på den
The crystal is cracked and has to be replaced. One lug is slightly bent. The movement runs strongly, but the beat error is well outside the acceptable range and needs regulating. No bracelet included; the lug width is 18 mm.
Ingen klocka här är trycktestad. En tidstypisk WATERPROOF- eller WATER RESISTANT-stämpel säger ingenting om packningarna i dag, så betrakta alla klockor på sajten som inte vattentäta.
