Citizen Alarm Date

What you're looking at

A Citizen Alarm Date, cal. 3102, from March 1970, made in Japan. Cushion-style stainless steel case with a blue sunburst dial, 21 jewels. Dial and crystal (acrylic) are both in excellent condition, and the crowns are original. The alarm function works.

What I know is wrong with it

Runs, but due for a service. The case has some light scratches and a small dent, both cosmetic and fixable. The leather strap is not original to this watch.

No watch here has been pressure-tested. A period WATERPROOF or WATER RESISTANT stamp says nothing about the seals today, so treat every watch on this site as not water resistant.
