I buy vintage watches and movements — running or not — strip them down on camera, and write up what I find. Some go back together and get sold. Others give up their parts. Either way the teardown stays here, so the next person to open the same caliber has something to follow.

Each caliber gets its own page: the teardown in chapters, the screw layout, and which oil goes where. I write it the way I want to find it at the bench — something to drop into halfway through, not a video you have to sit through.
