What you're looking at

Dial flawless — warm grey sunburst, free of spots, discolouration and scratches. Acrylic crystal intact, no cracks or scratches. Case unpolished with sharp edges and facets; light wear marks but no deep scratches, dents or dings. Day and date change as they should.

What I know is wrong with it

The case back has been opened and the movement regulated on a timegrapher — it now runs at about +14 seconds a day with the beat error set to zero. Service history is otherwise unknown, and a 55-year-old movement should be serviced by anyone intending to wear it daily. The strap is a new, unused black leather strap in 18 mm, not original to the watch.

No watch here has been pressure-tested. A period WATERPROOF or WATER RESISTANT stamp says nothing about the seals today, so treat every watch on this site as not water resistant.
