What you're looking at

Dial flawless — silver with a pronounced linen texture and applied indices, free of spots, discolouration and scratches. Acrylic crystal intact and free of scratches. Case in very good condition with sharp lines and only light wear marks. Day and date change as they should.

What I know is wrong with it

The case back has been opened to measure and adjust the rate — the watch runs at about −2 seconds a day with the beat error set to zero. Service history is otherwise unknown, and as with any watch of this age, budget for a service. The 7009 calibre has no hand-winding and is wound solely by the rotor, that is, by being worn. The strap is a new, unused dark blue leather strap in 19 mm, not original to the watch.

No watch here has been pressure-tested. A period WATERPROOF or WATER RESISTANT stamp says nothing about the seals today, so treat every watch on this site as not water resistant.
