Tissot 6606-2L "Visodate"
Tissot · 6606-2L · ca 1956
What you're looking at
Dial with an even patina and no spots — the Tissot logo and the indices are applied in gold, Visodate printed in black. Under a loupe there is a little dirt and a faint scratch, neither visible to the naked eye. Case and crystal are both in good condition, and the date changes over correctly.
What I know is wrong with it
The lume has fallen out of the hands. The acrylic crystal is lightly scratched but will polish out. The movement runs with low amplitude — dried oils — and needs a service. No bracelet included; the lug width is 18 mm.
No watch here has been pressure-tested. A period WATERPROOF or WATER RESISTANT stamp says nothing about the seals today, so treat every watch on this site as not water resistant.
